This Greensboro client called for a house washing estimate. Once the price was agreed upon and scheduled, we showed up for the appointment. We walk the property documenting the home for before and after photos as well as for any possible damage before we start. This client was particularly concerned about making sure the dormers were properly cleaned and was concerned because we weren't using ladders. This is no problem for us as our machine and our low-pressure technique makes easy work of these heights. We apply our cleaning solution to about half of the home. Then, we come back and rinse thoroughly. Especially the windows. We always add our free touchless window wash with every house wash. Under the eaves and along the gutters were particularly bad due to mildew, and algae from lush vegetation growing near the home. A low percentage of bleach is used as part of our house wash cleaning solution. This effectively kills bacteria, viruses, and algae; forcing it to let go of the surfaces which makes removing these growths possible with low pressure. This dramatically reduces the risk of damage from high pressure. Another added benefit is the brightening of the surfaces. Once the organic growth is gone, it can make older siding bright and new again. We spoke to the client about planning in the future for our roof soft washing to remove the algae streaking that is present on much of the roof.
